Our Distinction: Unlike standard tours, we do not visit the government-run feeding platform which requires taking a bus or taxi to Changuinola & then a boat. Instead, we conduct the entire excursion by boat, observing the manatees in their 100% natural, wild environment with no artificial feeding involved. Because we travel fully by boat, we avoid long road transfers and can easily combine this tour with a visit to Starfish Beach (Playa Estrella) on the same day.

San San Pond Sak is an internationally designated Ramsar Wetland site spanning coastal lagoons, freshwater peat swamps dominated by Raphia taedigera palms (known locally as yolillales), and dense red mangrove channels (Rhizophora mangle). Navigating these waters quietly with a small boat engine reveals a rare slice of wild Central America:
